STRATEGY & TACTICS #359 Forgotten Front: Italy 1944-45

In this game, the Allied player is on the offensive, while the Axis player attempts to stop the Allies. The Axis player must use his resources carefully and counterattack whenever possible to delay the Allied advance and gather as many resources as possible for the German war effort. Terrain and weather are on the Axis side, while resources and airpower are on the Allied side, as well as a massive partisan movement against the Axis forces behind the front lines. Each Game Turn represents approximately one month, for nine total. Each hex represents 6.2 miles (10 kilometers). Units are divisions, brigades, and regiments. Support markers represent specialized forces (airpower, artillery, etc). Contains one 22x34-inch game map and a sheet of 176 5/8-inch counters.
